Ashley Yeo

Every business begins with someone bold enough to take the first step. Ashley Yeo is the lawyer who safeguards what they have poured their heart into.

As founder of Yeo Ashley & Partners, she helps founders get the most important decisions right: who owns the company, how partners share it, and what happens when the business grows or changes hands. This is the work of equity structuring, shareholders' agreements, joint ventures, and M&A. To most people it sounds technical. To Ashley, it's personal. Behind every structure are someone's years of hard work, and the people they want to protect.

She earned her LL.B (Hons) from the University of Reading in 2014. Early in her career, she focused on IPOs and capital markets, including helping companies list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Then she made a choice: to bring that same expertise to the founders and small businesses who need it most.

Ashley believes the law should be something you understand, not something you fear. So she explains it simply. As the creator of Malaysia's largest business-law channel on Xiaohongshu (小红书), and host of The She-Suite (叙席), a platform for women entrepreneurs, she has helped business owners see the law clearly, and use it with confidence.

She also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of two companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, and is frequently invited to speak at companies and universities.

Her goal is simple: to help you build something that lasts.
